Police have condemned the alleged malpractice, emphasizing the importance of integrity and fairness during national examinations.

“We appeal to all stakeholders to remain firm on principles of transparency and compliance throughout the examination period,” Kasadha added.

Examination malpractice has been a persistent challenge in Uganda, with leaked papers, impersonation, and cheating scandals undermining the credibility of national exams in recent years.

Authorities have assured the public that further details will be released as investigations progress and have urged teachers, students, and parents to uphold ethical standards during the examination period.
